Summer Reading is Afoot! 2023
The library’s summer reading program was made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State.
Readers of all ages get to play detective this summer at Polk County Library’s
“Summer Reading is Afoot” 2023 Summer Reading Program!
June 5 thru August 5, 2023!
Participation is easy! Sign up for a reading challenge on Beanstack to log your reading throughout the summer and complete activities to earn badges. Did we mention there are prizes? All individuals that register for a Babies & Toddlers, Preschool, Children or Teens reading challenge are awarded a small prize. Every age group earns badges throughout the summer to complete the reading challenge. Every person who completes the reading challenge, in addition to receiving a small completion prize, will be entered into a drawing to win the grand prize for their age group. Grand prizes are available for each challenge age group: Babies & Toddlers (0-2 years), Preschool (3-5 years), Children (6-12 years), Teen (13-17 years), and Adults (18+ years).
FUN FOR ALL AGES! How it works:
