Friends of the Library
Who We Are
The Friends of Polk County Library is an organization of volunteers assist the Library in making the community aware of its services and its needs. Monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 12:00 pm.
What We Do
We supplement the majority of funding for adult’s and children’s programming. They also purchase furniture and equipment that is not available through county funds.
The major Friends fundraisers are the used book sales held in the Spring and Fall.
How to Join
Come by any of our libraries and fill out a membership form along your dues for the level that you specify. The Friends are a 501c Nonprofit and all donations are tax deductible.
