Adventure Begins 2024

The Summer Reading Program run from June 1st through August 3rd. There are programs and events for all ages!*

Register for Adventure Begins At Your Library on Beanstack or at any Polk County Library branch!

  1. Create a Beanstack account or sign in to your existing account. You can also grab a Passport to Adventure from your local branch to log reading and programs manually.
  2. Register you and/or your family members for Adventure Begins At Your Library Summer Reading Challenge.
  3. After you register, stop by your local branch to pick up your registration prize!
  4. Have fun at Library programs, log reading time, and log challenge activities to collect badges.
  5. Complete your SRP Challenge to collect a completion prize and be entered for grand prize drawing! **Badge requirements for completion vary depending on age group.**

*Some events require registration, as space may be limited. Contact the library for registration details. Visit our calendar or your Beanstack activity badge descriptions for program details.

Registration for June programs opens on May 20, 2024. Registration for July Programs opens on June 17, 2024.
